What is Main Streets?
Main Streets was originally a state project that had been implemented in multiple local towns to build communities and promote a strong business center. It is used as a tool to make residents and non-residents aware of all the town has to offer as well as the hidden gems of Ridley Park that make it so special and unique. Through a series of events, promotions, and marketing we will be able to put Ridley Park on the map and let everyone know how special it is. Main Streets is designed to be a long term project that will better our community, increase property values and increase desirability as a town in which people will want to live, work and play!
Main Streets is intended to revitalize Ridley Park and further develop the Parker spirit through building a sustainable community through businesses, neighborhoods and visitors alike. Main Streets was originally a state project that has been adopted and implemented in many local towns to build community spirit and a strong business center. It is a tool that is used to showcase all of the special and unique aspects of the town using the Main Streets program. It is through this original framework that Main Streets of Ridley Park has been born.
Who is involved?
The community-at large will be involved. We need everyone involved to make this program a continued success for many years to come. Local businesses, government officials, volunteers and members of Ridley Park organizations, boards and committees are all invited to participate.
